The last week Julien was in town, Gabriel was mysteriously sick enough for a few days to stay home from school, but well enough to have a good time, so a good time we had. Our first rainy day we concocted homemade Playdough.

In Panajachel, Guatemala we ran into this couple vacationing from Mexico, and we traveled together for a couple of days. In a series of fun coincidences, Heidi is from Wisconsin, and her Mexican boyfriend’s name is Julian! In the eight months since we met, Heidi and Julian have gotten married and are now living in Madison. We were thrilled to grab drinks with them one evening to catch up in Heidi’s and my home state.
